A man has been charged for allegedly vandalising the Dog on the Tuckerbox.
About 4pm on Saturday (27 July 2019), a motorist travelling along the side of the Hume Highway, Gundagai, noticed a man vandalising the statue.
About 11am today, a 28-year-old Wagga Wagga man handed himself in to police.
The man was taken into custody at Wagga Wagga Police Station and charged with one count of destroy or damage property. He has been granted conditional bail and is due to face Wagga Wagga Local Court on 11 September 2019.
