NSW police charge man with indecent acts at Doonside

Police have charged a man who allegedly performed indecent acts in a western Sydney park yesterday.

About 12pm (Monday 10 June 2019), a woman and her four children were having a picnic in Nurragingy Reserve at Doonside.

The children were playing before they reported to their mother that they had seen a man performing a sexual act.

Police have been told the woman then saw the man commit further sexual acts in the park, in the vicinity of other women and children.

The incidents were reported to police who attended and arrested a 50-year-old man as he rode his bike toward the Nurragingy Road exit.

The man from Woodcroft was charged with four counts of intentionally carry out sexual act with child and two counts of carry out sexual act with another without consent.

He was refused bail to appear before Blacktown local court today.

Meanwhile, inquiries are continuing and anyone with further information is urged to come forward.
