NSW police charge three after home invasion at Coonamble

Three women will face court later this month charged with aggravated break and enter following an alleged home invasion in the Central West this week.

About 9am on Tuesday (3 November 2020), three women forced entry into a home on Smith Street, Coonamble and assaulted the occupant, a 23-year-old woman, before fleeing.

Officers from Orana Mid Western Police District attended and commenced an investigation.

The woman suffered minor injuries.

Three women aged 57, 34 and 24 were arrested at homes throughout Coonamble later the same day and taken to Coonamble Police Station.

The trio were charged with aggravated break and enter and commit serious indictable offence-use violence, aggravated enter dwelling with intent, enter building/land with intent commit indictable offence, stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm and common assault.

All were granted conditional bail to appear at Coonamble Local Court on Tuesday 17 November 2020.
