NSW police charge woman after $12,750 worth of ice found

A woman wanted on four outstanding warrants was charged after allegedly being found with methylamphetamine valued at $12,750 in Sydney’s west yesterday.

About 6.45pm (Friday 23 October 2020), an off-duty officer observed a woman acting suspiciously on Napier Street, Mays Hill – near Parramatta.

The officer alerted Cumberland Police Area Command who attended and arrested the 37-year-old woman, sitting in a White Honda Civic.

Upon searching the woman and the vehicle, with police allegedly located 17g of methylamphetamine, a vial of GHB, a knife and drug paraphernalia.

The estimated potential street value of the drugs located is $12,750.

The woman was taken to Granville Police Station where she was charged with drive motor vehicle during disqualification period and supply prohibited drug (indictable)

Police also executed four outstanding arrest warrants for various break and enter, assault and property offences.

The Seven Hills woman was refused bail to appear in Parramatta Bail Court today (Saturday 24 October 2020).
