NSW police charge woman after man injured at Glenfield

A woman is due in court today charged after two people were injured at Glenfield in Sydney’s south-west.

Emergency services were called to Dobu Place just before 5.30pm (Saturday 8 May 2021), and found a man with a slash wound to his upper left leg, while a woman had a minor laceration to her head.

The 44-year-old man and his 47-year-old partner were taken to Campbelltown Hospital for treatment, while officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command established a crime scene.

Three women were arrested a short time later and taken to Campbelltown Police Station; however, two have since been released pending further inquiries.

A third woman, aged 36, was held overnight in police custody before being charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. She’s been refused bail to appear in Parramatta Bail Court today (Sunday 9 May 2021).

An improvised weapon was seized at the scene and has been taken for forensic examination.
