A man is in a critical condition after a brawl in the state’s Central West overnight.
About 11.15pm yesterday (Wednesday 29 September 2021), emergency services were called to Scrivener Street in Forbes, after reports of a fight between a group of people.
Upon arrival, officers attached Central West Police District found a man lying on the road with injuries to his head, as well as a stab wound to torso.
The 35-year-old was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Orange Base Hospital for treatment. He is in a critical but stable condition.
A crime scene has been established and inquiries are continuing into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
