NSW police investigate robbery at Parramatta

An investigation is underway after a fast food restaurant was robbed and two men were threatened in Sydney’s west yesterday.

Just after 10.50pm yesterday (Sunday 9 August 2020), police were called to the business on Church Street, Parramatta, following reports of an armed robbery.

Police have been told two unknown males, with their faces covered and armed with knives, entered the business and threatened an employee, a 44-year-old man, and a customer, a 30-year-old man.

The males stole two tills containing cash before leaving the scene.

Officers from Parramatta Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

As part of their investigation into the incident, they’re appealing for anyone with information to contact police.
