NSW police investigate stabbing at Dubbo

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the stabbing of a man in Dubbo earlier today.

About 8.15am (Tuesday 26 May 2020), emergency services were called to a home on Myall Street, Dubbo after reports a man had been stabbed.

On arrival, officers found a 33-year-old man suffering stab wounds to his chest and thigh. He was treated at the scene before being taken to Dubbo Base Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

A crime scene was established at the Myall Street premises as investigations continue by detectives from Orana Mid-Western Police District.

Early investigations suggest this was a targeted attack.
