Police are investigating after a shot was fired through the window of a home in the state’s Riverina region yesterday.
About 3am (Sunday 5 December 2021), a man and woman – aged 30 and 39 – were awoken by the sound of glass shattering, while inside their home on Awaba Avenue, Tolland.
Officers from Riverina Police District were called to the location about 10am after the occupants located pellets while cleaning up the glass. No injuries were reported.
A crime scene was established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is underway.
