A man has died following a single-vehicle crash in the state’s Riverina region.
Police believe about 3.30pm today (Friday 17 May 2019), a man was reversing out of a driveway on Henwood Avenue, Kooringal, when he accelerated harshly, causing the vehicle to crash into a brick retaining wall on the opposite side of the road.
The man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics but died at the scene.
Officers from Riverina Police District attended and established a crime scene.
The man is yet to be formally identified but is believed to be a 68-year-old man.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
