Nurturing Coffs Harbour’s rich mosaic of life

Coffs Harbour City

Community groups with grand artistic ambitions stand to benefit from a fresh round of funding through the City of Coffs Harbour’s Arts and Cultural Development Grants program.

Broadly, the funding strives to stoke community connection with the vibrant art and culture of the City.

The grants are brushstrokes for all kinds of folks – regardless of age, cultural background, education or social status.

“The arts and culture are a key patch of the rich quilt of local life,” City of Coffs Harbour Mayor Cr Paul Amos said.

“I encourage incorporated groups and not for profit organisations to apply.”

The latest round of funding – for projects delivered in the coming financial year (2024/25) – opens on 5 February.

Projects requesting funding should have strong arts, cultural and community benefits, with financial support grants ranging from $1,000 to $7,000 on the table. The grants program is a key action outlined in the Creative Coffs – Cultural Strategic Plan.

People interested in applying for funding are encouraged to attend a free information session run by the Cultural Development and Programs team at Yarrila Place from 5pm on February 20 (Learning Lab, Level 2, Harry Bailey Memorial Library).

Applications close on March 15. For further information on the program visit here.
