Emergency services are responding to a serious crash at the intersection of Glover Road and Ketemarae Road, Hawera.
Police were alerted to the single car crash around 8.25pm.
Initial indications are two people have received critical injuries.
Helicopters have been dispatched from Taranaki and Paraparaumu.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
