Police have arrested and charged a man in relation to a sexual assault in Raglan on 15 May.
A woman was threatened and assaulted in the early hours of the morning.
A 27-year-old man was arrested on 19 May and charged with kidnapping and two counts of unlawful sexual connection.
He is appearing in Hamilton District Court today, 20 May.
Police would like to thank the Raglan community for its assistance over the last few days, which enabled us to quickly identify and apprehend the offender.
Police are not seeking anyone else in relation to the incident.
