A serving police officer has been charged over alleged firearm offences in Sydney.
Yesterday (Wednesday 11 March 2020), a constable attached to North West Metropolitan Region was served with a Court Attendance Notice for the offences of carry firearm in manner likely to injure person x2 and police officer neglect to carry out lawful duty x3.
He is due to appear before Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday 22 April 2020.
The officer has been suspended from duty.
