Officer suspended 28 August

A corrective services officer was suspended today as a result of allegations of breaching professional boundaries with prisoners.

Officer assaulted at Lotus Glen Correctional Centre Queensland Corrective Services (QCS) can confirm that a custodial correctional officer received a neck injury as a result of an interaction with a prisoner yesterday at Lotus Glen Correctional Centre.
