On Wednesdays we look after our wellbeing

We hear your *sigh of relief* as we announce Wellbeing Wednesdays is coming to Camden Libraries, encouraging residents to pause and reflect for an hour, to relax the mind and soul.

Camden Libraries invites residents to attend the new Wellbeing Wednesdays program, which is kicking off this week with bookings open for a session of Chair Yoga.

The sessions can be booked as far as a week in advance, with the booking system detailing which relaxing activity will be taking place for the upcoming week.

Mayor of Camden, Cr Therese Fedeli, said the program was a great way to take five, allowing residents to break up their busy schedules and take a moment for themselves.

“The free Wellbeing Wednesdays program is perfect for busy residents who wish to allocate a bit more time to themselves throughout the week,” Cr Fedeli said.

“As the program unfolds, there will be a range of different mindfulness activities, which will provide individuals with the opportunity to look after both their mental and physical health.

“I encourage everyone to get involved in the free program, whether you attend once a week or once a month, self-care is really important.”
