One week back and still nothing to offer from the Labor-Green opposition

Nic Street, Leader of the House

Leader of the House Nic Street has called out the Labor-Green opposition for wasting the Parliament’s time with pointless stunts.

“It speaks volumes that in the first week back at Parliament for the year, all Labor and the Greens have to offer is pointless stunts and grubby personal attacks,” Minister Street said.

“The Premier’s State of the State address on Tuesday focused on the things that matter to Tasmanians such as easing cost of living pressures and addressing challenges in health and housing.

‘However, rather than engage with us on these important issues, all we’ve seen is pointless stunt after pointless stunt from the Labor-Green opposition.

“It is crystal clear that Labor and the Greens are only focused on political games, lame ‘gotcha’ moments, and stunts, rather than substance.

“Unlike the Labor-Green opposition, we’ll continue to get things done as we build a strong economy and a safe, caring community.”
