Moreland Crime Investigation Unit detectives with the assistance of the Fawkner Divisional Response Unit executed six search warrants following an investigation into the cultivation of Cannabis.
Police executed the search warrants at properties in Glenroy, Broadmeadows, Reservoir, Dallas and Albion, locating alleged hydroponic Cannabis set-ups, on Friday, 3 December.
Police seized a significant quantity of Cannabis plants.
A 43-year-old St Albans man was charged with possessing, trafficking and cultivating a commercial quantity of Cannabis and bail offences.
He has been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court later this morning
A 37-year-old St Albans man, a 23-year-old St Albans woman and a 26-year-old Sunshine man were released and are expected to be charged with cultivating commercial quantity of cannabis, to appear at a magistrates’ court at a later date.
