Opportunities to exhibit in Hume Galleries in 2020

Artists are now invited to submit expressions of interest to exhibit in Hume Galleries in 2020.

Mayor of Hume City, Councillor Carly Moore said we are pleased to offer three unique, state of the art gallery spaces in Hume City.

“Artists can apply to exhibit their works at the newly opened Town Hall Broadmeadows Gallery, the Sunbury Gallery, Hume Global Learning Centre – Sunbury due to open at the end of 2019 and the popular Gee Lee-Wik Doleen Gallery located in Hume Global Learning Centre – Craigieburn,” Cr Moore said.

“Each of these spaces offer exciting opportunities for local artists to contribute to the vibrant culture of Hume and local exhibitions complement the program of touring and curated exhibitions that will also feature at the galleries throughout the year.

“Local artists are also encouraged to propose ideas for one-off performances, workshops or events that will enrich community engagement with multiple art forms as part of the expression of interest process.

“Creative expression is one way we celebrate Hume’s rich cultural diversity, fascinating history and landscapes.

“This is a great opportunity for local artists to share their work in our beautiful galleries, free of charge, while also benefitting from technical support from Hume Galleries and local promotion of each exhibition.”
