Campaspe Shire Council in partnership with Rochester Community House is excited to announce two thrilling outdoor cinema movie nights scheduled for January.

Spies in Disguise will screen on Wednesday, 17 January at 7pm, and Dolittle will screen on Wednesday, 24 January at 7pm.

Both events will take place at the picturesque Rochester Silos. Attendees are encouraged to bring their chairs, blankets, and pillows for a cozy movie night under the stars.

Director Communities, Ms Jo Bradshaw said both screenings would be wonderful events to attend on balmy school holiday evenings.

“The Summertime Sessions at the Silos aim to bring joy and entertainment to residents.

“We invite the community to embrace the Summertime Sessions, encouraging everyone to support local businesses by purchasing takeaway delights to enjoy while they watch the films.”

Adding to the festive atmosphere, the renowned food truck, ‘Smoke n Roast,’ will be on-site, serving a delectable array of food and beverages.

Council and Rochester Community House have received financial support for these events from YACVic Umbrella Youth Flood Recovery Fund, which aims to support community-driven initiatives that aid in the recovery and resilience of youth affected by natural disasters.

“We look forward to providing an enchanting and enjoyable experience for all ages,” Ms Bradshaw said.
