Outgoing DevelopmentWA CEO thanked for distinguished service

  • State Government thanks outgoing DevelopmentWA Chief Executive Officer Frank Marra for his service
  • Mr Marra served as CEO for almost a decade
  • After nine years as DevelomentWA Chief Executive Officer Frank Marra has announced he is leaving to pursue new opportunities.

    The State Government has today thanked Mr Marra for his dedicated service and contribution to the State.

    Mr Marra’s final day at DevelopmentWA will be tomorrow, Friday 14 October, 2022. He joined DevelopmentWA (formerly LandCorp) in 1994 with his tenure with both LandCorp and DevelopmentWA spanning 28 years.

    Frank has served as DevelopmentWA CEO for the past nine years and played an integral role in strategic and corporate planning, project delivery and business development. He oversaw significant works including major land and industrial developments which have helped shape our State.

    In the interim, DevelopmentWA chief operations officer Dean Mudford will act in the role of CEO.

    The DevelopmentWA Board will undertake an extensive, national search for its new CEO shortly.

    As stated by Lands Minister John Carey:

    “On behalf of the State Government, I sincerely thank Frank for his service and dedication to the State over many years.

    “Frank has had a distinguished career in the public service and he leaves having achieved some significant outcomes for Western Australia.

    “Frank’s stewardship of DevelopmentWA has supported the Government’s objectives and priorities in delivering a range of important developments for the benefit of all Western Australians.

    “We wish Frank all the best for his future endeavours.”
