Ozone Reserve Dog Agility Park opens this Friday

The City of Perth has launched a new dog agility park at the Ozone Reserve in East Perth and it officially opens this Friday.

Being the only dog agility park in the CBD area, the park will attract new visitors to the city as well as the surrounding residential dog owners.

City of Perth Lord Mayor Basil Zempilas said a dog park in the City of Perth had been popularly requested, with the City receiving many positive responses from residents.

“As feedback shows, our community will benefit greatly from this exciting public amenity. It will provide endless exercise for dogs and a social opportunity for residents, while attracting new visitors to the city,” he said.

“At the City of Perth, we’re fortunate enough to have this space available for the community and especially for our furry friends to enjoy.”

As Ozone Reserve is centrally located, it provides great accessibility for residents and visitors alike.

Featuring dog agility equipment such as jump bars, weave poles, a pyramid ramp, dog walk and dog resting podium, our furry friends will be spoilt for choice when visiting the park.

The park features park benches, a water fountain and a bin with a dog waste bag dispenser.

The City of Perth’s 2020/2021 Minor Urban Intervention Program features two projects, one of which is the Ozone Dog Agility Park.

The City of Perth also has off-leash dog parks in the below areas:
