Pedal to metal for Merlin Darwin Triple Crown weekend

NT Government

Excitement has shifted into top gear for the 2022 Merlin Darwin Triple Crown, which will take to the track at Hidden Valley Raceway this weekend, 17-19 June.

Australian motorsport fans have descended on Darwin for the inaugural Supercars Indigenous Round.

In a first for motor racing, the Indigenous Round will celebrate Australia’s rich Indigenous culture and pay respect to the Larrakia people on whose land the event takes place.

This year’s event is bigger than ever, with a jam-packed program featuring the Supercars, Australian Superbikes, S5000, Porsche Paynter Dixon Carerra Cup and Combined Sedans.

There will also be two nights of Nitro Up North featuring the Burson Auto Parts Australian Top Fuel Championship.

As well as an incredible on-track program, there will also be a range of exciting off-track activities for the whole family to enjoy, such as a Kids Zone, Teens Den, Mini Moto and live music from Chunky Custard, to name a few.

Paired with the Top End’s perfect weather and incredible tourism experiences, the Merlin Darwin Triple Crown is a staple on the NT’s events calendar, and a must-do for all ages.
