Penrith RES charge seventh person over ‘Dial-a-Dealer’ cocaine syndicate, NSW

Penrith RES investigators have charged a seventh person over her alleged role in a ‘Dial-a-Dealer’ syndicate supplying cocaine across Sydney’s north west.

In August 2019, Penrith Region Enforcement Squad (RES) established Strike Force Gundain to investigate and target the supply of cocaine in the North West Metropolitan Region and surrounding suburbs.

Following extensive inquiries, strike force investigators executed three search warrants at units in Granville, Ryde and Carlingford on Thursday 12 March 2020.

So far during the investigation, officers have seized more than $115,000 cash, mobile phones, laptops, documentation, a ballistics vest, steroids and equipment consistent with the supply of prohibited drugs.

Officers have also seized more than 1kg of cocaine, more than 2kg of a substance believed to be methylamphetamine and 117g of heroin.

Five men – aged 23, 26, 27, 28 and 32 – and a 21-year-old woman have been charged and remain before the courts.

Following further inquiries, officers arrested a 19-year-old woman at a home on Lehman Avenue, Liverpool, just after 6am today (Thursday 19 March 2020).

The woman was taken Liverpool Police Station and charged with six counts of supply prohibited drug, supply prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity.

She was refused bail and will appear at Liverpool Local Court today.

Investigations under Strike Force Gundain are continuing.
