Pinjarra Fatal Crash – Update

Major Crash Investigators are seeking information regarding an incident in Pinjarra on Friday 27 November 2020, during which a 15-year-old girl fell from a moving vehicle and received fatal injuries.
About 1.25am a white Holden Commodore was travelling along Padbury Road in Pinjarra when a girl fell from the top of the boot area, hitting her head on the roadway. The 15-year-old girl was conveyed by ambulance to the Peel Health Campus before being transferred to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment of a serious head injury. Tragically, the girl has since died in hospital.
As part of the ongoing investigation Major Crash Investigators have charged the driver, a 17-year-old girl, with Manslaughter. She is due to appear in the Mandurah Children’s Court on Monday 14 December 2020.
