Police appeal to locate boy missing from Punchbowl

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a boy missing from Sydney’s South West.

Rayyan Monir, aged 10, was last seen on Matthews Street, Punchbowl, about 7.30pm today (Sunday 2 July 2023).

When he could not be located, officers attached to Campsie Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Rayyan’s welfare as he lives with autism.

Rayyan is described as being of Middle Eastern appearance, about 140cm tall with skinny build and black hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue “Champion” brand hoodie, blue jeans, Nike shoes and glasses.

Police believe he may have caught a train from Dulwich Hill Railway Station to Wiley Park Railway Station.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
