Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing from South Sydney.
Rukaya Kassem, aged 13, was last seen at an address on Gladstone Street, Kogarah, about 2.45pm today (Thursday 21 September 2023).
When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to St George Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Police and family hold serious concerns for her welfare due to her young age.
Rukaya is described as being of Middle Eastern/Mediterranean appearance, about 165cm tall with medium build, fair complexion and hazel eyes.
She was last seen wearing a maroon jumper and maroon skirt, but may have changed clothes.
Rukaya is known to frequent Arncliffe and the Kogarah town centre; police believe she may be in the Sutherland area.
