Police appeal to locate girls missing in Blacktown area

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate two girls believed to be in the Blacktown area.

Dakota Hill, aged 14, was last seen at a school on Fifth Avenue, Blacktown, about 2.20pm yesterday (Friday 16 June 2023).

Patricia Lamin, aged 10, was last seen at a school on Fifth Avenue, Blacktown, about 8am yesterday (Friday 16 June 2023).

When family noticed they were missing, they notified officers from Blacktown Police Area Command who commenced inquiries into their whereabouts

Police and family hold concerns for their welfare due to their young age.

Following inquiries, police believe the two girls are travelling together.

Dakota is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 150cm tall, slim build, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Patricia is described as being of African appearance, about 160cm tall, large build, black hair and brown eyes.

Patricia was last seen wearing a red t shirt and marron pants.

Dakota was last seen wearing a black jumper and black pants.

The girls are believed to be in the Dean Park area; however, have been known to frequent the Newcastle, Sydney CBD, Macquarie Park, and Blacktown areas.
