Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the Leppington area.
Ernest Lancaster, aged 66, was last seen at Leppington Train Station about 11.30am last Friday (24 July 2026).
When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police hold concerns for Ernest’s welfare.
Ernest is described as being of Caucasian appearance, with grey hair, 180cm tall, and average build.
When last seen he was wearing glasses, a dark-coloured jumper, black and yellow baseball cap, dark blue jeans, and grey and black backpack. Ernest is possibly wearing one hearing aid.
He is known to use public transport and frequent the Leppington, and Fairfield areas.
