Police appeal to locate man last seen in Eastern Suburbs

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man reported missing from Sydney’s Inner West, but last seen driving in the Eastern Suburbs.

Tom Yaghi, aged 74, was last seen at Dulwich Hill, about 2pm yesterday (Wednesday 10 January 2024), with checks revealing his vehicle was on Baronga Avenue, Queens Park, at 2.55pm.

Officers from Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command were notified yesterday of his disappearance and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Family and police hold concerns for Tom’s welfare as he requires regular medication.

He is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 160cm tall, thin build, bald with a grey beard, and was last seen wearing a white shirt and pants and black shoes.

Tom is believed to be driving a silver Toyota Camry NSW registration WVX319, and is known to frequent the Eastern Suburbs and Inner West areas.
