Police appeal to locate man missing from Fairfield West

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate man currently missing from Sydney’s south-west.

Remo Compagnolo, aged 86, was last seen at a home on Cambridge Street, Fairfield West, about 6am this morning (Saturday 11 November 2023), leaving in a maroon Toyota Rav4 with NSW registration, BC-94-BJ.

Officers from Fairfield Police Area Command were notified and have commenced inquiries to locate him.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Remo’s welfare as he has medical conditions that require treatment.

Remo is described as being of Mediterranean appearance, about 170cm to 180cm tall, of slim build with white balding hair.

He was last seen wearing a navy shirt, grey tracksuit pants, and grey ‘Sketcher’ sneakers.

Remo is known to the Fairfield West CBD, Brayton in the Southern Tablelands and Sanctuary Point at Jervis Bay.

Anyone who sees Remo or the Toyota Rav4 is urged to contact police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
