Police appeal to locate man missing from Hunters Hill 3 May

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s lower north shore.

Edward ‘Ted’ Lloyd, aged 72, was last leaving a house on Pittwater Road, Hunters Hill, about 6.15am this morning (Wednesday 3 May 2023).

When he could not be located by family members, officers from Sydney City Police Area Command were notified, who commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare as Ted lives with dementia and has other physical ailments.

Ted is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 185cm tall, of a medium build, with grey hair.

He was last seen wearing a navy-blue zip jacket, trousers and brown loafers.

Ted is known to frequent the Hunters Hill and Sydney CBD areas.

Anyone who may have seen Ted or has information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact police.
