Police appeal to locate man missing from Surry Hills 24 July

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Surry Hills.

Michael Barrett, aged 33, was last seen on Albion Way, Surry Hills, about 1.30pm today (Monday 24 July 2023).

When he failed to return home, officers from Surry Hills Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, between 175cm to 180cm tall, of a solid build, with a freshly shaved head and a long brown/red beard. He has a small scar on his forehead.

He was last seen wearing a black hooded jumper and black track pants.

He is known to frequent the Surry Hills and Sydney CBD areas.

Anyone who may have seen Michael or may know of his whereabouts is urged to contact police.
