Police appeal to locate man missing from Sydney’s south 5 May

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s St George area.

Dean Wheatley, aged 58, last seen on Macquarie Street, Parramatta, on Thursday 27 April 2023.

When he did not attend his place of work on Monday 1 May 2023, officers attached to Parramatta Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare, as his disappearance is out of character.

Dean is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 155cm tall with heavy build and long grey hair.

He is known to frequent Bexley North and Parramatta, and is believed to be using public transport.
