Police appeal to locate man missing from Waterloo 11 August

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Waterloo.

James Griffin, aged 56, was last seen on Phillip Street, Waterloo, Monday 31 July 2023.

When he was unable to be contacted or located, officers from South Sydney Police Area Command were notified on Thursday 10 August 2023, and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns about his welfare.

James is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, of a medium build, grey facial hair, brown hair and brown eyes.

He is known to frequent the Waterloo, Woolloomooloo, Darlinghurst, Surry Hills and Sydney CBD areas.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact South Sydney Police Area Command or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
