Police appeal to locate man missing from Wentworth

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the state’s Far West.

Benjamin Macleod, aged 46, last made contact with family at 6pm yesterday (Thursday 18 May 2023).

When he did not return home to Wentworth, and could not be contacted, officers attached to Barrier Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Concerns are held for Benjamin’s welfare.

Benjamin is described as being of Causcasian appearance, about 180cm tall, of large build, with receding short brown hair, unshaven. Last seen wearing dark green shorts and black jumper.

Benjamin may be driving a white Toyota Hilux with QLD registration plates 417TDT.

He may be in the Gol Gol or Mildura area.

Anyone with information of his whereabouts is urged to contact Barrier Police District or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
