Police appeal to locate man missing in Parramatta

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing in Parramatta.

Rammohan Govindaswamy, aged 78, was last seen at Wynard Railway Station about 11.39am today (Friday 23 June 2023).

When he could not be contacted or located, officers from Parramatta Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Following inquires, it’s believed he may have also been at the bus terminal in Carrington Street, Sydney.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare due to his age.

He is described as being of Indian Sub-Continental appearance, 155cm tall, of thin build, with grey hair and brown eyes.

Rammohan was last seen wearing a blue jumper, black pants, brown sandals and carrying a black backpack.

He is known to frequent the Pendle Hill and Sydney CBD areas.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to call Parramatta police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
