Police appeal to locate missing man at Auburn 3 September

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s west.

John Master-Brown, aged 90, was last seen leaving an aged care facility in Northumberland Road, Auburn, just after 4.30am today (Sunday 3 September 2023).

When he did not return and could not be located, he was reported missing to officers from Auburn Police Area Command, who commenced inquiries to locate him.

John lives with dementia and serious concerns are held for his welfare. He may appear disorientated.

John is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 177cm tall, with white hair (normally tied in a ponytail) and a white beard.

He was last seen wearing a light grey jacket, black track pants and black sneakers.

John is known to frequent the Haberfield and Annandale areas.

Anyone who sees him or has any information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Auburn police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
