Police appeal to locate missing teenager at Orange

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy missing from the states central west.

Jakobi Hicks, aged 13, was last seen at a payphone on Torpy Street, Orange, about 7.30pm on Friday (16 June 2023).

When he could not be contacted or located, officers from Central West Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

There are serious concerns for Jakobi’s welfare due to his age.

Jakobi is described as Caucasian appearance, 160cm tall, thin build and has ginger hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket, trackpants and red shoes.

Anyone with information of his whereabouts is urged to contact Orange Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
