Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman reported missing from Sydney’s east.
Janet Jones, aged 84, was last seen near Suffolk and Norfolk streets, Paddington, about 2.50pm today (Monday 11 September 2023).
When she could not be located or contacted, officers from Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command were notified and commenced an investigation to locate her.
Janet is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 152cm tall, of thin build, and with medium-length grey hair.
The woman was last seen wearing a red beanie, red jacket, and black pants.
Police and family hold serious concerns for her welfare due to a medical condition that requires treatment.
Janet is known to frequent the Paddington and Edgecliff areas and is known to walk through the Centennial Parklands.
