Police appeal to locate teenager missing from Blacktown

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Sydney’s south-west.

Makayla Lewis, aged 15, was last seen at a home on Hilltop Crescent, Blacktown, about 6pm on Sunday (5 February 2023).

After failing to return home to Canley Heights and unable to be contacted, officers attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command were notified on Monday (6 February 2023) and commenced inquiries to locate her.

Family and police hold concerns for her welfare due to her age and Makayla living with a number of medical conditions.

Makayla is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 155cm tall, of slim build, with long sandy brown hair and brown eyes. She has a heart tattoo on her hand

She was last seen wearing a grey and white dress with cut-outs.

Makayla is believed to be using the public transport network and may have travelled to Sydney’s CBD.
