Police appeal to locate woman missing from Glebe

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman reported missing from Glebe.

Irena Ilic, aged 34, was last seen at a home on the Ferry Street, Glebe, about 6.45pm yesterday (Wednesday 27 September 2023).

When she could not be located or contacted, officers from Leichhardt Police Area Command were notified and commenced an investigation to locate her.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Irena’s welfare due to her being deaf and this being out of character.

Irena is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm tall, of a thin build, with brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a green jumper and black pants.

Irena is believed to be driving a white Volkswagen Golf with the NSW registration CYN54N.

Police believe she may be in the Glebe, Annandale, Rozelle or Bronte areas.

Anyone who sees Irena is urged to contact Leichhardt police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
