Police appeal to locate woman missing from Penshurst 11 August

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from Sydney’s south.

Jingying He, aged 70, was last seen at a unit on Apsley Street, Penshurst about 10.15am today (Friday 11 August 2023).

When she failed to return and could not be located, officers attached to St George Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Jingyong lives with Alzheimer’s and speaks Mandarin. Police and family hold concerns for her welfare.

Jingyong is described as being of Asian appearance, about 155cm tall, of slim build, with short grey hair and glasses.

She was last seen wearing a white jumper and red pants with elephants on them.

Jingyong is known to utilise the public transport network and is known to travel to Hurstville and Central Railway Stations.

Anyone who may have seen Jingyong or has information about her whereabouts is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
