Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing woman Mary Sounness.
The 77-year-old left an address in Woodbine Grove, Chelsea about 12pm this afternoon to walk her two dogs, a golden spoodle and a black cavoodle.
Police and family members hold concerns for her welfare due the length of time she has been missing and has she has a medical condition which can cause her to become disoriented.
Investigators have released an image of Mary in the hope someone recognises her and can provide information on her whereabouts.
Mary was last seen wearing a purple rain jacket with black tracksuit pants and grey Sketchers shoes.
She is known to frequent Chelsea beachfront area.
Anyone who sees Mary or has information on her whereabouts is urged to Chelsea Police Station on 8773 3200.
