Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing woman Ling Yaping.
The 45-year-old Chinese National was in Australia on holidays from China.
She was last seen at her tour group hotel in Royal Parade, Parkville on 23 December.
Ling left behind her belongings in her hotel room.
Police have concerns for Ling’s welfare as she he has no known relatives or friends in Australia.
Police have released an image of Ling in the hope someone recognises her and can provide information regarding her current whereabouts.
Ling is described as 162cm tall, with a medium build, brown eyes and black shoulder-length hair.
