A man has lost his life in a single vehicle crash at Advancetown overnight.
Just after 12.30am, emergency services were called to Latimers Crossing Road where early investigations suggest a Volkswagon Golf left the road, crashed into an embankment and caught fire.
The man died at the scene. He was the only occupant of the car and is yet to be formally identified.
Latimers Crossing Road is expected to be closed for several hours.
The circumstances of the crash are now being investigated.
