Police are responding to fatal crash at Goodna, QLD

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating following a fatal traffic crash at Goodna yesterday (August 7).

Initial investigations indicate just before 6:30pm, a motorbike rider was travelling along Queen Street before colliding with a car.

The rider, a 44-year-old Fortitude Valley man, was treated at the scene by emergency services but was declared deceased a short time later.

The driver of the car was not physically injured.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision from the area around the time of the incident to come forward.

Investigations are continuing.
