Central Goldfields Highway Patrol members are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash in Eddington this afternoon.
It is believed a car was travelling along Bendigo-Maryborough Road when it crashed into a tree about 4.35pm.
The sole occupant, who is yet to be formally identified, sadly died at the scene.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
