Police will prepare a report for the coroner following a fatal crash in Rochford on 5 October.
Emergency services were called to reports of a car on its roof on Government Road about 8.30am.
The driver and only occupant of the car, a 22-year-old man from Woodend, was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries where he later died.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
