Echuca Highway Patrol are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash in Strathallan this morning.
It is believed a vehicle was travelling east on Echuca-Kyabram Road when it left the roadway and struck a tree about 6.15am.
The sole male occupant of the vehicle, who is yet to be formally identified, sadly died at the scene.
The exact circumstances of the crash are unknown and the investigation is ongoing.
